New cooker / crock pot?
Hello. I have this Rival Slow Cooker Oval 3 Quart someone gave me, but it seems way to cook things too quickly. (My poor roast were burned after 3 hours.) Even my mother told me the same thing when she used. (And no, we do not have a high value.) Can anyone recommend a better cook slow or at least some advice on why my stuff is burned? Winter is coming and I have a penchant for chili and chowder. Thank you! Yes, I know you are supposed to add water.
Westbend, catalog number 84626. It is quite reliable. I put it on setting # 2 and when I get home home after 9 o'clock the meal is ready and burning. It includes a bottom grid to keep food off the pot and helps administer the meat juices and vegetables.
