Vespa ET2 50cc 2002 does not start?
I was hoping a little help. 2002 Vespa ET2 50cc 2 stroke will not start …………. 1.Drained tank gasoline and put in the new premium fuel. Compression is good (60 psi) 2.Put OEM and obtains new NGK spark when I crank. 3.A Once I crank and remove the fuel line from the gas stream carb fuel line that is connected to the fuel valve 4.I kidnapped Weber carburetor and cleaned it with carburetor cleaner. Removed jets and mixture screws, needle on the float. 5.Reset great mixture screw 2 turns its back on from the bottom. 6.Rest little mixture screw 1 1 / 2 turns away from the bottom. 7.Did not do anything with the electronic starter. 8.Reassembled and elbow and it just does not get gas in the cylinder and the cap does not look wet. 9.Took carburetor apart again and gas in the float. I'm at a loss. Thank you! Bob
Hmmmmm ……… lightly as possible, it may need de-coke. Carbon could have closed the ports sufficiently to prevent starting, but that means dismantling the engine, unfortunately. Try the link below. There is a forum available, but I found it is not always present. (See "Additional Information".)
