Would it be so difficult for me to make a laundry basket liner like that?

I do not think it would be difficult to do and I doubt you will find a model and if you do the models are very expensive. Create a pattern from newspaper. Measure the height and the circumference of the basket, up and down as it is conical – draw a line in the narrowest part the widest. Add several inches to each for seams and hems., Can also derive some of the top chain. Stand on a cart large sheet of paper and draw around the bottom to get a pattern for the background, again to enable a seam edge. Take these steps to the store and they will work the amount of materials you'll need. When you cut the pieces to size, fit outside of the basket with pins, (Make sure the ground side of the material is far from you), then pasting them together, then sew. Turn on the inside so that seams do not show when you open the basket. Stand back and admire.
